There are some really groovy buttons around.   Whether they’re old or new I love using them and I’m always looking for a way to incorporate them into the things that I make.  I’m using this collection as embellishments and closures for books.  

The button necklaces were bought years ago at a craft market in Melbourne.  The colors are great and  the design is so simple.  They are threaded onto leather and other smaller buttons are placed at the back to hold them in place.
