Here is a look at my completed Beginner’s Sampler which was made as a teaching quilt. Finally it’s quilted and bound. It’s great to get something finished and what a good excuse to start something new! Also the pattern for the Bright and Breezy quilt is now loaded onto the blog.

Singapore To Shanghai

It’s official. We are leaving Singapore and moving to Shanghai! I can’t complain about expat life being dull. There is always a new adventure just waiting around the corner.
We move in October and while I’m looking forward to living in Shanghai there is a part of me that will miss Singapore.
In the four years we have been here I’ve made some wonderful friends and life has been good. SIngapore has been a unique and enjoyable experience. At least I’ve taken lots of pics and I’ll always have images like this one to remind me of my time here.
This shot is of Marina Bay - the large building in the front of the picture is the Fullerton Hotel, to the left is the Merlion and those streaks of light on the water are the local ferries.

Binding

One Bright and Breezy quilt almost finished. All that is left now is to add the binding. I’ve written a pattern for this simple quilt and will add it to the blog soon.

Bec’s favorite color combo. was green and purple. Thanks to everyone who entered and left a comment. I really enjoyed reading them. Green seemed to be a big favorite and I can’t disagree. I love green too - so calming.
